Wilbo Gives Valedictions and Benedictions

Look into the emotional chaos deeply. It's multilayered.

You are undertaking the same journey untaken by men, women and children on the Oregon trail, a journey that has a beginning but no certain end. You're probably driving a car, but that only makes it faster. I am wishing that when you do return, you return heroically and powerfully. I believe this is in the cards of a very good hand that is your hand. In mythology, the name of this is the monomyth. Wikipedia does a good job of explaining: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Monomyth.

More, you are giving up all that has ever worked in your life, and the place from which it has worked, and you are moving that competence to another city. Turtles without shells and molting crustaceans know this feeling, waiting in protection until a new shell forms.

Plus, you are locating to one of the strongest cities in the world. I have delayed sending you my compendium of very strong people who have contended with Los Angeles. Going to LA to join the story industry is a little like Superman going back to Planet Krypton. Protect your resources, increase your circle of supporters and protectors, and ready yourself for total, inevitable transformation. You have definately put yourself into the arena, the maelstrom.

It helps to have people you can trust to handle your Detroit affairs during the transition. I've delegated to my nephews when I'm away or my father. I am back in Detroit, and it's great to be back in the big easy again.

Good luck. Best wishes.

Wilbo

Hail to the Trail!
