Wilbo Shares Insights About Dreaming With A Beautiful Dreamer

Hi,
While I was living in Virginia Beach, I started hanging out at the Edgar Cayce center; Cayce, as you probably know, had won fame as the sleeping prophet. Given a question, he would fall asleep and discuss solution and answers; these were written down by his wife and assistant. These ideas for increasing dream life are posted in a class room at the Association for Research and Enlightenment, based on the grounds of Edgar Cayce's hospital. I paraphrased to put them in my own words. Comments in brackets are my own.

Actions for Recall of Dreams:

1. Ready your bedside tools: journal, pen, flashlight
2. Go early to sleep. The bed is an ideal place for dreamwork and creativity.
3. Train yourself to wake up upon dreaming.
4. Lie still when you awake to keep the conscious mind disengaged.
5. Increase your dream life by meditating and praying more, praying to your higher being.

Edgar Cayce wrote in Reading #295-15

All dreams are given for the benefit of the individual would he or she interpret them correctly. Dreams are the night's answer for the day's questions.

Making Sense of Dreams:

1. Without wait, write out dreams fully [without spoiling the effect of # 4 above, of course.]
2. Tap into feelings as the dream progresses [without spoiling the effect of #3 above, of course.]
3. See the themes in dreams; note symbols and document meaning of symbols to you.
4. See where your dream is relevant to your waking life.
5. Search dream fully for insights and glimmerings because such is there, even simple insights.

I wrote these down as people filed in for the daily 3:30 PM lecture at the Association For Research and Enlightenment. A scholar - researcher offers these lectures explaining one or more Cayce readings daily, and not even an offering is requested in return. I attended a lecture on Edgar Cayce and his readings of Earth Changes. Did you know that the Great Lakes are destined to drain into the Gulf of Mexico? This sounds plausible when one thinks of all the drought-suffering southern and southwestern states crying for water diversion.
