You really do well following Quiet Faith of Muskegon MI: Wild Turkey Bluegrass House Concert!

HI FOLKS!

The hot, young Canadian bluegrass band, THE WILD TURKEYS will be
performing a house concert this Thursday, August 26 in Lakeview
Michigan on the shores of  Tamarack Lake.  Sometimes things just fall
into your lap.  The band is currently on tour and needed a date.
Soooooooooooo........Lucky Us!

This Canadian quintet of brothers burst on the Michigan scene a couple
of years ago when they stole the show at the Bliss and Wheatland Folk
festivals with their hard drivin', swamp stompin' music and off the
wall humor.  They have been headlining festivals throughtout the
country ever since.

It's going to be a good....good. night.   Bring a lawn chair  (the
concert is inside) and a cooler and get hunkered down for some  fine
knee slappin'  bluegrass.

The Wild Turkeys Bio:
Armed with fiddles, mandolin, guitar, bass, harmonica, a tin can
percussive suitcase contraption, and melodic four part harmonies, the
Turkeys win over the hearts and ears of audiences everywhere.

This gang of brothers first came together as a band in the winter
months of 2006 and quickly formed a stronghold in the Sault Ste. Marie
Algoma region. Perpetually on tour, the Turkeys follow a busy schedule
performing at festivals, house concerts and small venues. Over the
past two years, The Wild Turkeys have shared the stage with artists
such as the Fred Eaglesmith, Prairie Oyster, Harry Manx, the Good
Brothers and Elliot Brood. This band blends masterful classical
techniques with a youthful and theatrical approach to old time
country.
