Wilbo tries to answer questions posed by an inquiring reader ...

Oh, bad day for those questions. I've been reading existentialism.

If knowledge is your project, it has value for you. However, we can
see from overlooked reports that the world goes on very well without
knowledge. So on item number one, I’ll answer no. In other words,
knowledge has no intrinsic value.

Cost is a concept arising from civilized arrangements called
contracts, Consideration A has Cost B. Those who are ignorant rarely
make contracts. What looks like cost in the world of the ignorant is
really punishment. It is often exacted from the pocketbook, but the
hide serves just as well, betimes. So ignorance has no intrinsic cost.

Why are you asking all these hard questions today? Soul searching?
It’s a sign of a good analytical mind when you see a person love
tangible hobbies, such as canine breeding and interior design. Are
these two pursuits you considered with more than a passing fancy
during your last vacation?

Wilbo
