There's a nice bus ride that starts 7:12 sharp at top of hill on Grand
Haven Road, pickup right by Jack's British Petroleum. That's 7 AM and
catching it puts me on a three bus trip that requires an hour.
Although the bus runs right by my employer's doorstep, the bus doesn't
arrive until 8:15 AM. I am loathe to say to my employer, "Can't make
it until 8:15 AM. I'm taking public transportation". Not at my salary.
So I cab in the morning. Wednesday, the dispatcher took sick, so a replacement attempted to
fill his shoes. I waited 35 minutes for my ten minute ride, and that's
only because Emile, my usual driver, took pity on me. Regular
dispatcher is back today, thankfully.
