Dear Bookseller
I have three quick questions. First, what's the word on a wine bar announced a while back? Second, any word about the reuse of Utopian Market. There's a great Sharon Smithem mural on the west exposure and the garden out back is unbelievably well tended, beautiful and diverse. Hate to see garden and deck go to ruin. Three, I visited your bookstore Tuesday and a faculty member from Blue Lake and I sat outside and chatted because your bookstore had closed at 6. I can understand your hours, but seeing you have a special outreach to boaters by opening at 7:30 AM, maybe an outreach to Blue Lakers might garner a few extra sales.
I am so impressed with your outreach to writers this month. Thanks for making your bookstore a tour stop for authors. Plus, you are drawing musicians from as far south as Benton Harbor and South Bend, Monte, Venita and Molly Moon. I know those performers from the open mike at Livery Brewing Company.
Best,
Wandering Wilbo
