Yep, the lake freighter Saginaw proceeds out of Grand River estuary backwards.

It's very lively on the Grand River in Grand Haven tonight. Plenty of boat traffic boating to the big lake, fishermen and speedboats. It's dreamlike when one is bobbing in a boat upon the night dark inland sea. That's why the rush to make the lake now, to be in position when our sun goes below our horizon. I think I've counted twenty poles on the pier, angling for sport fish and reeling in gobies.
