In a tip of the hat to idea of appearance versus reality, I find myself beholding headlights at Ardsley Travel Plaza, NY, Mile 13677

So I drove north out of Brooklyn on Bedford and so arrived in Williamsburg. It was pleasant to see so many observant men walking the streets, all talking on their phones. The Tri Borough Bridge is now the RFK Bridge, and I am sure people forget those letters stand for Robert Fitzgerald Kennedy, or will never learn the connection. I passed through the Bronx on the freeway up to Albany, the Thomas Dewey Thruway. I will have to get off if I am to find a few towns that exemplify Hudson Valley towns on the river.
