Howell is close to the land the I call the triple watershed point. Here water could flow towards Lake Michigan, Lake Huron or Lake Erie. Howell is south of the population center if Michigan, a point in a field south of Corunna Michigan. Howell is a good halfway point for me on the road back to Muskegon too. I think by miles, Howell isn't halfway though. It's short of that honor, with Lansing a better candidate.
