I do remember the basics of Detroit, such as the location of Jacoby's and St. Andrews in this Michigan town.

So I have about an hour to drink and then over to Greektown Casino with me. I see Tiger fans in their regalia but I couldn't tell you if the Tigers one or lost. I know the Palaka Cafe never closes across from the Greektown Casino yet I am uncertain on the spelling. The Strohs in sale in this bar has nothing to do with Detroit River water. Buy a brand, buy a recipe, use the right water already. I know St. Andrews once had a religious function and I am sure it needs exorcism now. I know I never could have guessed I would spend a night of 2012 I'm Detroit at loose ends like this, especially from the viewpoint of 1988. I know everyone in this bar are dressed like Detroiters from 1990, but the men and women partying here might be children of the crew of 1990. Especially the ones who got their drinking rights this year. I know one decade, I couldn't go anywhere with friends finding me. I have doubts about the likelihood tonight. Will the bartender take me home after she cleaned up? I had a run of years in Detroit where the possibility trembled.
