Saturday, June 23, 2012 7:30 PM TCI Productions Presents World Renown New Orleans Jazz Trumpeter and Vocalist Chris Clifton on the Beardsley Stage.
The sounds and feeling of the great LOUIS "SATCHMO" ARMSTRONG will fill the Beardsley Center on Saturday June 23 when New Orleans trumpeter/vocalist CHRIS CLIFTON graces the stage..
The 75 year old Clifton,now an elder statesman of the New Orleans jazz scene met Louis when he was only twelve years old.They became lifelong friends and Clifton performed with Louis and his group on several occasions.
Cliftons show is simply entitled "MEMORIES OF A FREIND" a tribute to LOUIS ARMSTRONG. Joining Clifton on stage will be a cast of all star musicians who have worked with some of the biggest names in jazz.
