@Maniactive finds the chef who makes the Lamb Lollipops, Salt of the Earth, Graydon's Crossing, and now Ramona's Table, East Grand Rapids, @PureMichigan

Journeyman became Salt of the Earth. It's fascinating how that space
in Fennville has had a reputation for charcuterie and "force meats".
Sadly enough, I was disappointed my last visit to Salt of the Earth,
in March 2012, the first egregious meal in that space in seven years.
I didn't complain, although my date wouldn't have minded or felt
embarrassed. She saw how tough my steak was to cut and chew. I didn't
complain because I didn't want to admit that the magic of that
culinary destination had experienced a lapse, even if a momentary
lapse.

That date and I had enjoyed that Fennville destination restaurant
several times together. The first time, we attended a banquet in honor
of the Saugatuck Center for the Arts, a fundraiser. The chef then
presented an long table of charcuterie and a single table of lamp
lollipops. The lollipops were so good, I wanted to stash a dozen in my
pocket and have them for Sunday breakfast.

It is interesting to see that the former Journeyman owner has traveled
with his knives and pans to Reserve, Grand Rapid's fabulous wine bar.
It's good to see his tax problems, which shut down Journeyman, didn't
hamper his career or lead to his incarceration. His famous charcuterie
is a total plus at Reserve Grand Rapids. I wonder if he was hired by
the Amway families for his skill and his tax rebel status? That would
be Matthew Millar.

Aaron Burrows, I never knew your name, but I did know your signature
skill in tapas, small plates and charcuterie, which reigned over the
last year of the Cambridge House, Thanks to Maniactive's article, I
now know I can find the Lamb Lollipops through Ramona's Table. Nice
work, Maniactive! I cannot think of what I could possibly do to
deserve another table full of those delicacies. In fact, I am hesitant
to partake of them again, fearing to diminish my memory of taste and
texture.

When I am ready, I'll make my way to East Grand Rapids.

Interesting background in the article is mind jogging. There was once
a Ramona Park. I happen to live on Mona Lake, once Mona's Lake. Once,
in an age far before ours, we named our lakes and parks after
daughters.
