A quick stop made to take photographs, the Fish Monger's Wife, Sherman Street, Muskegon

I always learn more about Great Lakes fish when I visit the Fish Monger's Wife. Today, I saw an example of the fish weirs employed to gather up whitefish. Petersen's Fisheries has as many as ten in the shallows of Lake Michigan, zone 8, from Pigeon River up to Pentwater. I always thought the fishermen used nets pulled behind the fish tug. I create my own lunch and learn.
