Old Homestead begins construction of an outdoor patio, promising views of the Muskegon Airport Field

Old Homestead continues a program of progress. Carpet replaced to easy-care industrial. Two new biffies with stalls now all trimmed and tiled. New wood planks laid on the dance floor. Now, the obvious progresses. The front vantage of the Old Homestead commands the landing strips and fields of the Muskegon County Airport, a few of them planted to prairie plants, wild flowers and canola for biofuels. This broad expanse allows the clouds above the big lake to show up in their glory. In fact, I'm stepping outside to catch the colours of sunset. Soon, I'll be able to toast a sunset with a beer. Look for a Grand Opening of the deck for the Fourth of July.
