Stark Turn is a 501 c.3 non-profit organization. For many productions after the Lake Effect Fringe Festival, actors are paid a stipend based on box office receipts at the end of the run.  Some productions, such as the annual Halloween musical based upon a selected horror movie, are extremely popular. In 2014, Stark Turn lampooned the eighties horror classic, Poltergeist. Actors are expected to help with other production duties such as costumes, sets, props, etc. Mostly, actors are expected to help with marketing and promotion!
