On the Day of Women's March 2020 on Washington, Wilbo Wonders if Donald Trump Really Sleeps in the White House?

Let's see what's happening in Washington today. Looks as if Donald Trump has visitors today? Isn't Democracy wonderful? As I drink morning coffee, I think, "Shouldn't I get pictures? My friends will want to see it through the camera's eye. The story awaits. Shouldn't I go listen, make witness"?

Buses are coming from three hundred miles away and more despite the falling snow and challenging temperatures.

I doubt our President sleeps in the White House. Our leader and Commander in Chief has to make use of the Oval Office and its electronic nerve center. The halls work well for banquets. Yet when Lafayette Square fills with protestors daily and the mall crowds with processions, the White House looks terribly small. The white washed mansion looks frail & vulnerable. Heck, grass doesn't grow anymore in Lafayette Square because thousands of feet from all over the world march rough shod all over it. Scores of Secret Service Agent on black Treks pedal around the Square, wearing body armour, capturing the scene on body cams. Friendly spry men cycle the walks, saying hello, trying to figure out who goes on a threat matrix.

The White House could be described as antiquated, even obsolete. It once looked so massive to me.

I was taking a bus along the south road of the National Mall at Nine, passing by the Washington Monument. Barriers were popped up from the pavement, blocking ingress to the mall. And then I passed the Trump International Hotel. Every movement of the President is a top secret, military grade operation, so maybe we'll never know. But do you suppose that the Trumps have a compound in the tall, stoic made of stone marvel that once housed the Post Office? After a long day in the Oval Office, with sound proofed windows, he goes home to the Trump International Hotel and takes a load off?

Note to my sister, Ann Marie and her husband Stephen Stevens that must be said. If there's a word of disrespect in this note, I'll answer for it.
