This is what the golden hour of sunset looked like, Ionia MI, Mile 12720.

I stopped in for a shower. Pilot has good clean ones, no marble on the walls like the competitor but clean and private. A shower is around ten dollars, but if you want a quick freshen up, this is the place. In case you are wondering, I have slept in truck stops during my travels. It's silly to pay for eight hours in a hotel room when four hours of shut eye will put one right back on the road. With a shower clean feeling and a hot cup of steamy coffee. I am not a professional truck driver but I look the role and I have passed a few evenings laundering clothes and watching movies in a Pilot trucker's lounge.
