It serves the neighborhood as the local pub, where Karaoke is sung and Team Trivia is played. Most people know one another. The cars in the lot are newer and in good repair. There is a smoking deck on a concrete pad, fenced off by a wood privacy fence, seven feet tall. I haven't smoked in a week, long enough to have a dry hack. A pair of infra-red heaters promise a wee bit of warmth for winter smokers; and awning stands ready to catch falling snow. It is as brisk as a MSU Spartan tailgate party out here, after the victory, where only gloating warms the cockles of hearts. And that's a true description of this moment. We are proud of our Spartans after their battle against the Wolverines. We all win when those Green & White and Maize & Blue return to their books and lecture notes Sunday. Go Green. Go knowledge.
