All the businesses in Dorr are closed except for places like the Mobil service station. Two carry out pizza businesses are open. The city has just authorized tractor pulling contest to be held. Looks like the high school kids from Dorr go to Wayland Union High School. Wayland is raising money to paint a series of murals, apparently downtown. Wayland is on an old trade path between grand rapids in kalamazoo so that will make an interesting set of murals. These are all facts I have gathered during my briefs day in Dorr. The Mobil station is very modern and contains a Subway sandwich counter. A print in the station shows a Mobil during the 1950s, when the service clerk cleaned car windows for customers. Bow we have twi sandwich artists who will make a sub sandwich for you and one clerk that'll take your gas money. It makes me miss the old time custom of full service. I am sure I would see more to like about Dorr if it were daylight. I can see no reason to come back.
