Wilbo Thinks He Knows Something About Public Relations: But this Party Worked !

Thanks Miss H, Detroit's most desireable, socialite singleton, for Mr. H's information.

Any chance you can share the following arts information with people in your noble trade? I'm a good friend of Barry's, so I'm helping him with publicity for free. I know it's probably WAY too late, but intercede for us, oh great maiden of media.

Art Gallery Party: 10/6/05: Show your ART in Royal Oak

Barry Tallent, world globe-trotter and mild-mannered social studies teacher with the Dearborn Public Schools, will be displaying his photographs from China, Peru, Tibet, England, Thailand and five more exotic lands at Lily's Seafood in Royal Oak, Michigan.

Come celebrate the photography of Barry Tallent Thursday, October 6, 2005 from 7:00 PM until close. The Detroit Wikipedia Project has initiated coverage of the photography career of Barry Tallent. The evening will benefit the American Red Cross and Hurricane Katrina Relief.

One lucky guest will win a print by Barry Tallent, published by the Graphics Factory of Royal Oak, Michigan and raffled by Tallent. Lily's will be providing drink specials, free admission and hors d'oeuvres from the culinary team of Bob Morton and his sous-chefs.

All of Tallent's musical friends are turning out to entertain his guests, entertaining them with three fresh, unique sets:

Rosetta Pebble **** Four hip, musically gifted schoolmasters from Grosse Pointe, Michigan

Xavier Moore **** cross-cultural master of Blues, Soul, Funk and African Hand Drum

Brandon Creasman **** Guitar Axman from the Electric Magi now doing solo albums.

The Brothers Morton are top supporters of the arts, and their patronage includes the Dondero High School theatre program, Waterworks Theatre Company and the Royal Oak Shakespeare Festival and the Royal Oak Clay and Glass Street Fair.

FYI: Lily's Seafood is always looking for talented artists to display and sell their wares amongst the saltwater fish tanks and nautical charts of Lily's.
