I think one of the last sounds I wish to hear is a hurdy gurdy
grinding out a harmony. I had the good fortune to enter Bob & Bernie's
Pub tent as And Dro launched a Britanny number featuring the Hurdy
Gurdy. And I was given to tears. Yes, and not due to the Mastery &
purity of An Dro & their music, but the Irish Festival of Muskegon is
a milepost for me, a celebration of coming to earth another year
longer in Muskegon MI. Yes, I feel the call of the road loudly right
now, but Saturday the Wilbo is at rest. The Hurdy Gurdy is the
intrument that travels from town to town, and the circular grinding of
its arm recalls the motion of walking. When the music and the event is
so right, it is no big to try the upstart stout. It's drinkable and
