At least the Hard Rock Cafe and Cedar Point remember you Harry Chapin, taken from us too early in the summer of 1981

Cedar Point has to extend its season any way it can, and running the
amusement park as a huge city of haunted houses is a beautiful way to
keep those turnstiles turning and tickets selling. The Hard Rock Cafe
sponsors a fake graveyard in the middle of the park, and I was given a
moment of reflection when I saw one for Harry Chapin. To the faithful,
he was so much more than another one hit wonder, but most know him for
his hit, Taxi. Harry Chapin was too busy singing free concerts to
benefit poor and disadvantaged people, so he never took good care of
his health. One day, driving to a benefit concert, Chapin suffered an
heart attack and before he could pull over to the shoulder and stop
the car, a truck struck his vehicle from behind. I'm rather glad that
Harry had a brother named Tom who kept the songs of Harry Chapin alive
and sang in a style similar to Harry.
