I feel like a pioneer, making a purchase of much needed cough drops and syrup employing my Nexus S Samsung phone. Google gave me ten dollars to try the Google Wallet and I am glad I took advantage of it. It was a lot of fun and Meijers had the right payment terminal. Now my phone is my wallet, my camera, my journal, my guide, my personal channel to my daughter, family and friends. I even employ my phone to wake myself up in the morning.
It's a pretty safe process. I have to type in a pin number to complete the purchase. I also have to activate and tap the screen to make the transaction happen. To be twice secure, I could set a password on my screen. The Google Wallet functions like a prepaid MasterCard, so I can even direct deposit to it. Now if I could just crank up the money Wandering Wilbo makes through using AdSense.
