So I really needed a hair cut, so I checked into Jude's Barbershop, Grand Haven MI, Mile 26139.

My father at his passing had a full head of hair that has just started to go gray. He was 73 years old. My two brothers enjoy full heads of hair, and they're both older than forty. I suffer from male pattern baldness and have a receeded forehead  that has reached the tonsure on the top of my head. My bald pate is visible from space. I once shaved my head, going Kojak, and it upset my daughter greatly and caused a lot of fuss around the office. It was as if everyone in the office was an explanation why I shaved my head. Instead of shaving my head again for convenience, I went to Jude's Barbershop, which was open on a Sunday. Jude's offers a buzz cut for 13 dollars. I got a men's precision cut, which was over in about 10 minutes. Immediately, I put my tweed cap back over the fresh haircut. There is the rule of politeness that a man takes off his hat inside a public building. I think I am doing more kindly by society by keeping my hat on my head. Maybe I'll go Kojak with my next haircut. For now this haircut is fine; no one really notices my hair anymore anyways. One of the problems with the Kojak style: I have a mole on the top of my head and it makes me look like Premier Gorbachev. I'm a Wilbo not a Gorby! So I keep enough hair on top of my head to keep the mole from showing.
