Taking a tour of joints in Grand Haven MI featuring bands. Mile 26117

Most of the bars in grand haven michigan offer bands on saturday night. The Theater Bar hosted Vincent Hayes, a blues musician. The Pavilion Bar and Grill had a musician, but I rarely go into that cramped space. 22 Below hosted the Kari Lynch band, and I enjoyed this young group very much. The Rosebud had a grittier band called Liquor Mule. The Grand is a supper club also a sushi bar, and it hosted Barefoot Sunday, and it featured a scorchy blues singer who teaches school by day. Brena rocked the bar at the Kirby House,  raising applause with their version of Freddie Mercury's Bohemian Rhapsody. I dropped by the Tip a Few, but the Tip rarely has live entertainment. That's not bad for an entertainment district, seven bars and 6 bands. I bet Odd Side Ales and Portobellos also had bands tonight, but they closed earlier than their late night bar neighbors. It's great to drift from joint to joint and catch a few songs at it, a walking concert.
