The Bonfire Pub & Grill is totally plunking down too much money for
music this Thursday night. They've hired Joe Sturgill of Four Finger
Five and Mike Boxer. Joe or Mike can carry a night on their own. Where
will Bonfire fit all the entourages, combined Too cold to sit out on
deck, but not this lunch hour. I feel better about this space now that
the Sardine Room has spiritually moved to Lake Muskegon shore and
become the Lake House. As much as I love the Hearthstone Bistro, I
can't wait until the House of Lister opens in the old Walker Filing
cabinet factor, finally able to offer lake views to match the menu and
service. This plan delayed when the economy soured and depends upon
remainder of plant transforming into film studio, helped by film
credits. Now if we can encourage Fricano's to serve a menu more
ambitious than 10 inch round pizzas in that exquisite lakefront dining
room, we'll have eating better on the water.
