Wilbo wanders around Spring Lake, Michigan, looking for changes. He pads around Grand Haven too.

I saw a family of Korean teenagers fishing under the M-104 bridge, and two anglers landed bullheads at the same time. One was so fat and heavy, it bent the pole in half and was impossible to bring to the net. The smaller bullhead rested on the pavement, not even gasping for exygen, pretty much placid, as if he knew he was far too small. I notice three tables on the Jack's of Spring Lake deck and they were all male parties. I noticed a mix of people around the Tiki bar, but mostly guys telling me to go eat sushi at the Wild Chef in Holland. They were enjoying tonight's special, a seared ahi tuna sandwich.

I was gratified to see the Grand Lady still docked close to Old Boys Brewery after the Fruitport Old Fashioned days. I'm not sure why it was still there after being the point of festival departures over the Memorial Day Holiday. Service up at the normal dock near the Indian Mounds in Grand Haven doesn't start until the Ninth, according to the schedule. During the festival, I guess conditions were too wet at Pomona Park, downtown Fruitport, for people to board where the Old Fashioned Days are celebrated. The gang plank for boarding is still extended at Old Boys Brewery, so I'm not sure who is walking the ramp to board the first few days of this week. Inevitably, she'll have to set up river to return to its ordinary port. Usually these longer runs are advertised, and I wouldn't mind being on one of those, especially it it takes place during the evening. A bus picked people up in Fruitport to take them up to the upriver launch when the Grand Lady made its spring trip downward to the Tri-Cities. I wonder how I would get back to Spring Lake after arriving at the corner of Michigan 11 and the Gerald Ford Freeway.

There's some kind of wealth seminar setting up a day early in the Holiday Inn ballroom. I'm not sure, maybe it will work for all the guests. I might as well blog my way to wealth instead of taking an off-the-radar wealth building scheme.

To be honest, I wouldn't have minded a nice run on the Grand Lady tonight, especially if they had poker and blackjack again:

The video which you have given here is very interesting. And usually these longer runs are advertised, and I wouldn't mind being on one of those, especially it takes place during the evening.
